We are looking to recruit a PhD student in Public Health to undertake a study on impaired driving (alcohol and drug use) on the campus of the University of Saskatchewan. You will be working as part of a team, that includes the Staff Sargeant for Protective Services, to undertake the following objectives: 1) to examine the current data that's been collected; 2) to inform the collection of additional data to answer key questions related to alcohol/drug consumption and driving on campus; 3) to help update and inform the data collection system used by USASK; 4) to map geographic hot spots on campus where incidents occur; 5) to understand the reasons these behaviours occur (qualitive methodologies).

Funding is pending although we expect that the student will be fully funded for a minimum of two years ($21,000 per year). This project will occur over a 2-year time frame with completion expected by 2025.
