Department of Geography & Planning, Centre for Hydrology, Global Institute for Water Security, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Canada

What am I currently thinking about?

My team is discovering:

i) How to best partner with beaver to enhance water security and restore degraded ecosystems. Coming soon - info on the Canadian Rockies Beaver Project!

ii) How wetland function varies across mountain ranges and evolves under stress. Visit the Mountain Water Futures and Canadian Rockies Hydrological Observatory project sites to learn more.

iii) How we can best train graduate students for careers in water security and biogeoscience. Visit the NSERC CREATE for Water Security site to learn more.

Excited by these projects? Then, join my team and train for your future career! I have fully funded openings for 2 talented and motivated students interested in topics i) and ii) starting May or September, 2019. Send me an email outlining why you want to join us, and how you would like to contribute to advancing knowledge in one of the above topics.
