All photos were taken with an old-fashioned 35mm SLR with a 50mm f2 something lens, 800 ASA film and one minute exposures on a stationary tripod. Images were taken on the ground beside the 40 inch telescope building.
My favorite image, the Magellanic Clouds rising over the 2.3m "dome".
A pair of coalsack region (southern cross) images:
The galactic center was straight overhead!
The Grus region.
The Lupus region.
Back toward home, Cygnus upside down!
And from a dark site in Australian winter you can see the zodiacal light. Thanks
to Laszlo Kiss for showing me this!
