I joined the University of Saskatchewan on July 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Before joining USask, I was an Assistant Professor (Lecturer UK) in the School of Engineering, Ulster University, United Kingdom and a postdoctoral fellow at Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada and the University of British Columbia (UBC), Kelowna, BC. I received the Ph.D. degree (Distinction) in October 2014 from Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John's, NL, Canada.

My current research interests include applications of optimization in signal processing and wireless communications; next-generation communications networks; internet-of-things (IoT); non-orthogonal pulse modulation; and applications of artificial intelligence in signal processing and communications.
